The project of preparing documents for the Implementation of a national e-Content aggregator in the field of culture for the principal National and University Library was finished in January 2011. The project results will allow a single occurrence of Slovenian culture in Europe.

The establishment of so-called National aggregator will assure effective collection of electronic content from Slovenian cultural institutions and their publishing on the Europeana - European portal of culture, http://europeana.eu. The present project has the ambition to further strengthen cooperation between institutions in the Slovenian cultural space by developing services aimed at reducing costs and increasing quality of digitization and the online presence of Slovenian institutions in the field of culture.

Services performed by IPMIT comprised of an analysis of the existing availability of cultural e-Content, preparation of business and organizational model of National aggregator, design of the technical model of the National aggregator and preparation of investment and construction documentation.
